He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Scholten and Eleanor Scholten (Stevens); his parents-in-law, Gordon Sr. and June Herrema; and his brother-in-law Bill Kuiper.
He is survived by: his daughters, Corrie Witherell (Gerry) and Sarah Scholten; his grandchildren, Max and Kate Witherell; his brothers, David Scholten (Jan) and Kevin Scholten (Judy); and his siblings-in-law, Carol Euker (Jim), Gordon Herrema Jr. (Marcia), Mary Worst (Chuck) and Gayle Raymer (Jeff). He is also survived by his loving wife, daughters, son-in-law, grandchildren.
