He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Kenneth and Donna (Whitmore); and his former wife Joyce. He is survived by: his wife Judith "Judi" Hardy; his daughter Kristine Kuerbitz (Bob); his grandchildren, Lillian and Lucas; his son Stephen "Craig" (Morgan); his grandsons, Joseph, Leo and Derek; his stepson Clinton Jennings (Vickey); his children, Thomas LaVanway and Victoria DeVoll; and his sisters, Kathleen Olk, Diane Gallatan (Fred), Sheila Triplett, Vicki Kitts (Gary) and Kay Greenslate (Kenneth). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (1206 Whitehall Rd, Muskegon, MI 49445). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
