He is survived by: his parents, Tod Gerard and Kathy Gerard (Fusko); his sister Kelly Smith (Steven); his children, Ariana and Ian; his aunt JoAnne VanderWeele; his uncle Lee Gerard (Linda); his close friends, Josh, Zach and John; and also Erin Smith. He is also survived by six cousins.
