She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Madison and Matalene Madison (Graves); her husband Homer Smith; and her siblings, Henry, Floyd, Anna Mae, Mattie Jean and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Smith (Kusie) of Kentwood, MI and Eric Smith (Julia) of Muskegon; her grandchildren, Kyle and Caleb Smith; and her goddaughter Alexis Sims-Dye. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
