He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Yonkman and Mina Yonkman (Veeneman); his siblings, Roger and Charlene Wolffis; his father-in-law Eugene Thielman; his brother-in-law Charles Thielman; and his son-in-law Brian Burghduf.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Yonkman (Thielman); his children, Robert Yonkman Jr., Sherri Henkler (David) and Julie Lans (Marc); his stepchildren, Nicole Oquist (Leif) and Eugene Morningstar; his siblings, Judy Helmus and Alan Yonkman (Nancy); his mother-in-law Beverly Thielman; and his sisters-in-law, Barb Yonkman and Lois Thielman. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Fifth Reformed Church.
