With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Dykstra (Norton Shores, Michigan), born in Muskegon Heights, Michigan, who passed away on May 31, 2019 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold R. Dykstra and Flora B. Dykstra (Kline); and his sisters, Sandy and Linda. He is survived by: his former wife Joni Lynn Proctor; his wife Joni Dykstra; his children, Bobbie Northrup (Randy), Chris Dykstra and Danielle Hoekwater (Mike); his stepdaughter Lanea Brown; his siblings, Dan Dykstra (Sue), Ron Wilcoxson (Sherri), Mary Galy, Barb Barrett (Gordie) and Debbie Dykstra; and his close friends, Mark Smith, Chuck, Cathy Carson and George McDonald. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions in lieu of flowers may be directed to the Muskegon County 4H or Harbor Hospice Foundation.
