He is survived by: his friend Fremont; his wife Shirley; his children, Jeffery Brooks (Rhonda), Amy Stevens (Mark) and Jennifer Carlton (Matt); his grandchildren, Lauren Brooks (Ryan VanderWagen), Nick Brooks (DJ Clemmons), Zac Stevens (Rosa), Austin Stevens, Lucas Carlton and Claire Carlton; and his sister Patricia Lawrence.
