She was predeceased by: her parents, John Martz and Edith Martz (Cruickshank); her daughter Mary Hughes; and her brothers, Phillip and Charles Martz.
She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" Hughes; and her children, Douglas Hughes (Shari), Gordon Hughes (Kathy), Peggy Hutson (Harlan), Barbara Hughes (Kaz Czarnecki), Teresa Stowers and Peter Hughes (Debbie). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
