She was predeceased by: her parents, Ludwig Neumann and Susie Neumann (Barnum); her husband John Buikema, Jr.; her children, Patti Buikema and John Buikema III; and her siblings, Roger Neumann, Lorraine Yerkie, Caroline Barber, Maxine Hansen and Lois Elliott.
She is survived by: her daughter Sally J. Castner; her daughter-in-law Patti Routt; and her brothers, Lewis Neumann (Dorothy) and Richard Neumann (Katie). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
