He is survived by: his mother Sherry Boerder; his wife Sheannan Patricio-McDonald; his siblings, Chris Meriman and Lindy Brown; his uncle Jeffrey McDonald; his niece Jessica McDonald; and his close friend Bob Kumpula. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; several friends.
