She is survived by: her children, Kelly Root, Stephen Root (Susan) and Timothy Root (Eva); her son-in-law Anthony Roman; her grandchildren, Connor Roman, Sarah Roman and Elodie Root; her siblings, Chuck Carey and Maureen Ebmeier (Irving); and her caregiver Melissa DeWitt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
