It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Monique Kahrs of Norton Shores, Michigan, who passed away on September 24, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Pon and Claudine Pon (Greaves); her brother Jean-Michel Pon; and her siblings-in-law, Niki Pon and Marcel Perrin.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne; her children, Patty Abdelkader (Jamal), Alan Kahrs (Robyn) and Karen Filka (Bob); her grandchildren, David Abdelkader (Stacey), Lauren Abdelkader (Chanel O'Brien), Justin Kahrs (Anna) and Christopher Kahrs (Ellie); her great grandchildren, Mason, Kadin and Senna; and her brothers, Patrick Pon (Annie), Bernard Pon, Yannick Pon (Marie-France) and Didier Pon (Pierrette). She is also survived by two sisters.
