She was predeceased by: her parents, Reinier VanWalsum and Cora VanWalsum (Vaandering); her spouse Teunis "Tom" Verhagen; and her brother Rien VanWalsum. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Connie Verhagen (Michael Cerminaro) and William Verhagen (Pat); her grandson A. J. Verhagen (Kayla); and her great grandchild Amelia Verhagen.
