She was predeceased by: her parents, Foster Berry and Martha Berry (Chase); her husband William Gietzen; and her sister Robin. She is survived by: her siblings, Anne Chiappetta Taylor of Oregon and Martin Berry PhD (Kathleen) of Massachusetts; and her friend Jay Burrows. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Lake Harbor United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
