He is survived by: his former wife Josephine Rivera; his wife Josephine Melgoza; his children, Angelica Melgoza (Alex Martinez) and Jose Iglesias; his grandchildren, Leticia Melgoza, Natalia Godoy, Yvelisse Martinez, Eliana Martinez and Jimena Martinez; his great grandchild Ariya Wright; and his brothers, Raul Melgoza (Kathy) and Martin Melgoza (Bertha).
