She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry McComb and Sue McComb; her former husband John S. Nelson; her husband Edward "Jack" Fortenbacher; her brother William McComb; and her niece Julie Bersonnet (McComb).
She is survived by: her sons, Craig Fortenbacher (Kathy), Bradley Fortenbacher (Patsy), Jeffery Scott Fortenbacher (Sheri), Dan Fortenbacher (Suzanne) and Jeffrey Alan Fortenbacher (Corinne); her sister Jane Porter; her niece Amy Dupont; and her nephews, Justin Porter, Ken McComb and Scott McComb. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
