He was predeceased by: his parents, William Surge and Beatrice Surge (Bostwick); and his brother Walter Surge. He is survived by: his spouse Ann Leptic; his children, Monica Zuniga (Dan) and Eric Surge (Lori); his grandchildren, Meghan Farr (Chris), Dylan Zuniga (Brianna Hibbert), Erin Surge (Josh Mowbray) and James Surge; his great grandchildren, Natalie Farr, Lillian Farr and Sylas Zuniga; and his siblings, William Surge, Mitzi Loutensock (Richard) and Bebe Phillips.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jim's name to Harbor Hospice will be appreciated.
