He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Pomeroy and Verne Pomeroy (Schwemer); his wife Janice Wierda; and his brother William Pomeroy (Jean). He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Pomeroy, Joel Pomeroy (Peggy) and Jack Pomeroy (Angela); his grandchildren, Katrina Cooper (Shawn), Nicole VanDyke and Jordan Dion; his great grandchildren, Jordan Cooper (Lyndsay), Vincent Rennells (Aryon), Tyler Rennells (Tiara Johnson), Sarah Cooper, Jamie Palmiere (James), Aidan VanDyke, Oliver Munn, Kendall Munn, Talon Cooper and Johanna Cunningham; his great great grandchildren, Huxley Cooper, Ajax Rennells, Lucille Rennells, Wilder Rennells, Alannah Novell, Fearynn Rennells, Bentley Ware, Paisley Palmiere and Rebel Palmiere; and his brother-in-law Richard Wierda (Edith). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
