He is survived by: his wife Alcie Eloise Barnes (Gibson) of Norton Shores, MI; his children, James Barnes, Jr. of Spring Lake, MI, Vicki Schultz (Paul) of Montague, MI, Julie Wyhowski (Randy) of Otsego, MI, Janice Boomgaard (Luke) of Spring Lake, MI, Pamela Onken (Ken) of Fennville, MI, Cheryl Caperton (Pete) of Fennville, MI and Jody Klamer; and his brother Bill Barnes (Lucile). He is also survived by grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren.
