With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Berends (Norton Shores, Michigan), born in Byron Center, Michigan, who passed away on November 18, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Berends and Gertrude Berends (Herrema); his wife Lois; his sons, Patrick (Lisa Walejewski), Ruston (Jill), Michael (Paula) and Ryan (Ellen); his grandchildren, Brittany, Jacob, Joy, Christian, Ashley, Luke, Emma, Jonas, Grace, Benjamin, Kayden and Liam; and his siblings, Boyd (Linda), Dick (Nancy), Bill and Bonnie.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions a celebration of Jack's life will take place next year.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Muskegon Rescue Mission to help the community Jack looked to serve.
