Shafer (Cindy) of Mattawan, MI, Dan H. Shafer (Donna) of Ariznoa, Raymond L. Shafer (Jeannine) of Lawton, MI and Michael T. Shafer (Judy) of Muskegon; his brother-in-law Harry Kokx; his daughter Sharon Fricke (Dick); and his grandson Adam Joseph Shafer. He was also cherished by 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren.
