He is survived by: his children, Linda and Darrin Thies; his stepchildren, Janith E. Bryson, Kenneth M. Dulinski (Cheryll), Rhonda K. Tornow (Kirk), Shamarie and Danny G. (Kristy); his brother James Thies; and his sister-in-law Leida Thies. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and a few great-grandchildren.
