He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert and Vivian Hill Sr. (Burgess); his former wife Karen Cook; his wife Leila Nicolet; his former wife Karen Hill; his children, Christopher Hill, Charles Hill and Becki Gillett; and his sisters, Bee and RoseMarie.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Hill (Ann), Bryan Hill (Melissa), Tim Hill and Cynthia Gokey (George); his stepchildren, Sheila Beam (Michael), Pamela Ballor (Bill), Joe Nicolet (Doreen) and Ron Nicolet (Margo); and his siblings, Sandy (Hector) and Dwayne. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Gilbert's honor can be made direct to the American Cancer Society.
