He is survived by: his children, Stephen Root (Leigh), Jeffrey Root, Scott Root (Barb) and Lisa Root (Robert Brumit); his grandchildren, Allison Kraker (Alex), Olivia Root (Nick Espinosa), Scott Root and Michael Root; and his siblings, Peggy Williams (Dick), Randy Root (Kathy) and Tom Root.
