She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrol "Tommie" Tompkins and Naomi Tompkins (Bailey); her husband C. William Hanichen; and her sister Ann Krum. She is survived by: her sons, Matt Hanichen (Colleen), Andy Hanichen (Karen) and Joel Hanichen (Judy); and her grandchildren, Molly Dutkiewicz (Brian), Abby Wade (Tripp), Jennifer Zanoli (Mark), Ryan Nichols, Jon DeMent (Leslie), Nicole Tsiolis (George), Jon Hanichen (Lindsey), Scott Hanichen, Anastasia Hahn, Ian Hahn and Nikki Alkama (Mark). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
