He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Ott and Minnie Ott (Poe). He is survived by: his wife Joy Oslund; his children, Laurel Davis and Jeff Ott (Debbie); his grandchildren, McKenna Davis Breddan (Jeremy), Conor Davis, Evan Davis, Johannah Ott Sherman (Trevor), Jacson Ott and Jamerson Ott; and his brother Richard Ott (Barb). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Spring Hill Camps in Evart, MI or Indiana Wesleyan University in Don's memory.
