She was predeceased by: her parents, Garold and Yvonne; her husband Allen I. Simmerman; her brothers, Laurell Lee and Alfred Arnold; and her sons-in-law, Gerald Smith and Craig Thomas.

She is survived by: her children, Margo Gonser (Lynn), Melanie Thomas, Kevin Sr. (Kathy), Kimberly Hvizdos (Edward) and Sherry Lue (Dale).
