He was predeceased by: his sons, Spencer and Jeffrey (Mavis). He is survived by: his wife Mavis Ann Sterritt; his children, Tim (Rita) and Lindy (David); his grandchildren, Abbie, LeeAnn, Dani and Tyler; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Oliver.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dan's name may be made to the Harbor Hospice Foundation or Faith Hospice.
