He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Heeres and Celia Heeres. He is survived by: his wife Suzette Heeres; and his children, Gabe Heeres (Tonya), Andi Bernethy (Joe), Kevin Heeres (Sharon), Mark Heeres (Beth), Jennifer McWain (Fred) and David Heeres (Erika). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, his sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law, as well as several nieces and nephews.
