He was predeceased by: his father Angus Blackmer; and his brother Tim Blackmer. He is survived by: his son Christopher; his stepchildren, Samantha and Zachary Chase; his mother Marilyn Blackmer; his siblings, Michael Blackmer (Sandra) and Karen VanderKooi (Darrell); his fiancée Kim Sawyer; and his child Amy Blackmer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
