He was predeceased by: his brother Michael Generes; and his stepmother Yvonne Generes. He is survived by: his parents, David Generes and Brenda Rogers; his wife Diane Green; his children, Alyssa Lu (Ssuyu) and Matthew Generes (Angell Cook); his sister Theresa Generes (Ron Spencer); and his stepsiblings, Mark Trute, Dave Trute, Stephen Trute and Michelle Brooks (Richard). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
