He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Kenneth Dodge, Dean Slagle, Alfred G. Lawson and Geneva Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Toni L. Lawson; his children, Tiffany, Pearson, Jordan Lawson and Jacob Lawson (Bobbi Jo Matheny); his parent Merriann Lawson, Jr.; his father-in-law Sally McDowell; his grandmothers, Edna Dodge and June Slagle; his siblings, Lyle Lawson (Cindi), Laura Lawson-Beauchamp (David) and Angela Rose (Mike); his sister-in-law Tonya; his nieces and nephews, Caleb Brown, Joe Lawson, Hunter Rose, Tegan Rose and Rowen McDowell; and also Ron McDowell.
