He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander J. Funke and Patricia Funke (Hughes). He is survived by: his brothers, Tom Funke, Ed Funke (Barbara) and Matt Funke (Lisa); his nieces, Marina Funke, Brooke Funke and Kate Funke; and his nephew Erik Funke.
