It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karol Klauer Spann of Northville, Michigan, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on March 19, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anne Dennison Klauer and Richard Leon Klauer; her sons, John Russell Jr. (Josephine Spann), Thomas Spann and Timothy Spann (Ananya Spann); and her brother William Klauer.
She is survived by: her son Dennis Richard Spann; her daughters-in-law, Cynthia Spann, Ananya Spann and Josephine Spann; her grandchildren, Rachel Spann Bowman, Ivan Spann, Connor Spann, Garrett Spann and Vee Spann; and her great grandchildren, Evanthia of Lorimier and Addalyn Spann. She is also survived by her son and daughters in law, grandchildren, nieces, and many close family friends.
