With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Goers (Northville, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on November 6, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dominic Lanza and Mary Capaldi Lanza; her husband Frederick; her daughter Joann Goers; her daughter-in-law Kathy Goers; and her brother Anthony Lanza (Gladys).

She is survived by: her children, Ed Goers, James Goers (Dottie Weinberger), Randy Goers, Mary Goers-Scheffer (Scott) and Norma Goers. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Angela Hospice.

“My deepest sympathies to you and your family. Fran was my teacher assistant at Farmington Training Center back in the late 1980's. She was friendly and helpful to her students. If she knew you weren't having a good day, She would always get you to smile and make you forget about anything that was on your mind; I'm going to miss her too.”
