He was predeceased by: his father Henry Burkeen; his wife Rachel F. Burkeen; and his siblings, George Burkeen and Eva Ray Harris. He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Stesney (Leonard), Esta Vogan (William) and Patricia Galczynski (Edward); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Sam, Bryan, Elizabeth, Brent and Rachel; and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Lucas, Maggie, Uma, Lupe, Lily and Avery.
