He was predeceased by: his siblings, Wallace Bruce, Clifford Bruce, Glenn Bruce, Eugene Bruce, Donald Bruce, Russell Bruce, Gladys Sundquist, Lorraine Olson, Dorothy Anderson, Phyllis Christnagel, Marilyn Herm and Evelyn Peterson.
He is survived by: his parents, John E. Bruce and Elvira Bruce (Olson); his wife Linda Bruce of Arnold; his children, Russell Bruce (Josefina) of Queen Creek, AZ, Mary Jo Mahaffy (Dave) of Wallace, MI, Pamela Bruce of Gwinn, MI, Peggy Julian (Terrance) of Porterfield, WI and Tricia Brisson (Scott) of Green Bay, WI; and his sister Carol Muther of Milwaukee, WI. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
