He was predeceased by: his grandmother Ethel Ezell; his daughter Gladys Helen Wheeler; his parents, John Ezell and Emma Mozette Scott; his sisters, Vera Lee Ezell, Kay Balentine and Marsha Scott; his siblings-in-law, Jonathan and Evelyn Critchett; his stepmother Opal McMunn; his siblings-in-law, Wilma Lou Ezell, Ellen Campbell, Gladys Scott, John Critchett, Ed Walters and Jack Buit; and his friends, Gaylon Shepard and Raymond Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Ezell (Critchett) of North Muskegon; his son-in-law Dudley Wheeler Sr.; his siblings, Gary Ezell (Lou), Doyce Scott, Dewayne Ezell, Debbie Williamson and Roxie Thompson (Ronnie); his grandsons, Dudley Wheeler (Kara) and Cody Wheeler; his great grandchildren, Donte, Bastian and Eliza May Wheeler; his siblings-in-law, Jerry Critchett (Pam), Donna Buit and Marlene Walters; and his Army buddy Ray Flannery. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Shults-Lewis Child & Family Services Inc., PO Box 471, Valparaiso, IN 46384 which he loved and supported.
