He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Allen and Alice Allen; and his brother Dale Allen. He is survived by: his sister Clariss Kinsley of Orange County, CA. He is also survived by two nephews; a host of close friends; his nurses and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Joe Winger.
