It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Lee Bates of North Branch, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on January 28, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard Harrington and Mildred Harrington (Williams); her children, Kimberly Wheaton (Frank) of North Branch, Joel Lee Bates of Los Angeles and Pamela Bates (Ben) of Mayville; her sister Annie Martin (Tom) of Clio, MI.; her husband James Bates; and her son James Bates Jr.. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren.
