He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrude E. Bower; his daughter Kathy Davis; his parents, Gregory Bauer and Gertrude Bauer; and his siblings, George, Walter Bauer, Marie Rivers, Thomas Bower, Frank Bauer, Arthur Bower and Marcella Bauer.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas J. Bower (Anne) and Rita Freidinger; and his sister Mildred Bauer. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
