With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John McDonnell of North Branch, Michigan, who passed away on March 12, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John McDonnell and Nora McDonnell (Pollard); his parents-in-law, Eugene and Shirlee Gruse (Reimann); his wife Cheryl McDonnell (Gruse); his daughter Monique Bonkowski (David); his grandchildren, David John, Denver Bonkowski, Brittany McDonnell, Benjamin Kaldahl, Abram, Annabelle and Samuel Schneider; and his stepgrandchildren, Alexis, Nathanial, Sarah, Breana and Nicholas Fantin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in John's name may be made to the Veteran's Affairs of Lapeer County or Paradise Animal Rescue.
