He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Belland and Lois Kathleen Belland (Dolson); his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Skiba; and his siblings, Patrick Belland and Anna Boucher.

He is survived by: his sons, Victor (Kimberly) of Loganville, GA and Keith (Tami) of North Branch; his grandsons, John Belland (Madeline) and Joshua Belland (Alicia Willey); his sister Donna Petitpren; and his pet Godzilla.
