It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Porritt Sr. (North Branch, Michigan), who passed away on October 25, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Porritt and Alice Porritt (Midgley); and his siblings, Wayne Porritt, Virginia Klauka, Norma Jean Taylor, Mildred Firmingham, Raymond Porritt and Alvin Porritt.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Porritt; his children, Debra Dhooghe (Tom), Gordon Porritt Jr., Rodney Porritt and Sandra Warda (William); his grandchildren, Tiffany Kreiner (Kevin), Heather Dhooghe, Tom Jr. Dhooghe (Nicole), Tiffany Velasquez (Andrew), Sydney Shaw, Hayden Porritt, Gordon Porritt III, Ridgeway Porritt, Jacklyn Lyman (Robbie), Rodney Porritt Jr., Rachel Warda, Carly Warda and Olivia Warda; his great grandchildren, Brandon Lilly, Michael Lilly, Kody Kreiner, Aidan Dhooghe, Owen Rex, Thomas Dhooghe III, Daylan Velasquez, Allie Velasquez, Audrey Shaw, Bennett Shaw, Jaxon Lyman, Maximus Lyman and Lexi Lyman; and his brother Jim Porritt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
