He was predeceased by: his father Fred Pasternak. He is survived by: his mother Louise Pasternak Sr. (Diller); his wife Deborah; his children, Paul Pasternak and Tina Santacruz; his grandchildren, Clayton Gish, John Gish (Nicole), Peyton, Emma, Lilly, Braydon, Kaylee and Brennan; his great grandchild Liberty; and his brothers, John Pasternak (Tammy) and Jos VanBerckel (Regien). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
