She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Stephens and JoAnn Stephens (Holland); and her sister-in-law Roberta Garrison. She is survived by: her husband Tom Kanan; her children, Diana Kurak (Edward) of Warren and John Kanan (Rose) of Macomb; her grandchildren, Eddie Kurak (Jamie Kenner), Thomas Kurak (Brittany Preston), Layla Kanan and Lillian Kanan; her great grandchildren, Daisy Mae and Violet Rose; and her siblings, Terry Garrison of Alabama, Gary Garrison of South Carolina, Timothy Garrison of North Branch and Danny Manning (Sue) of Alabama.
