With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chester Holcomb of North Branch, Michigan, born in Waynesville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 22, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyman Holcomb and Clarabelle Holcomb (Greene); and his sisters, Sheila Cooke, Betty King, Donna VanPelt and Paula Holcomb.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane; his children, Michael Holcomb (Luann), Carolyn White, Cheryl Lawal (Suraj), Gary Holcomb (Lindsey) and Rodney Holcomb (Sara); his grandchildren, Michael, Jonathon, Tyler Holcomb, Allysun, Aaliyah White, Rasheed, Jordan, Aminah, Kaidin Lawal, Rodney Holcomb II and Kash Holcomb; his great grandchild Leila Lawal; and his siblings, Ralph Holcomb (Louise), Russell Holcomb and Wanda Morrish. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to United Hospice Service of Marlette Hospital or Juvenile Diabetes Association.
