He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lee and Olive Brackman (Bandy); his wife Shirley Ann Nichols; his daughter Robyn LeeAnn Brackman; his grandson Brooks Brackman; and his siblings, Elaine Thompson, Doug Brackman (Ann) and Finis Brackman (Donna).

He is survived by: his sons, Hank Brackman (Tami) of Reading and Aaron Brackman (Kathy) of Hudson; his grandchildren, Amber Martin (Trevor), Abbie Mulkey (Dominic), Adrianna Brackman, Kurtis Brackman (Rachel) and Trent Brackman (Erin); his great grandchildren, Sydney, Allison, Adelyn, Aiden, Laine and Charlie; his siblings, Sue Catterson and Steve Brackman (Theresa); and his sister-in-law Ann Brackman.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Hillsdale County.
