He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter W. Hilligoss and Leitha L. Hilligoss (Lewke); his great grandchild Korbin; his sons-in-law, Randy Clanton and Willie McCraner; and his siblings, Pauline Worvey, Bobby Hilligoss, Juanita Fein, Paul F. "Fred" Hilligoss, Nadine DeForest, Theresa Millin and Mary Shearer.
He is survived by: his wife Bertha Eva Brown; his children, William W. Hilligoss (Susie) of Niles, Pam Krassow (Craig) of Niles, Vicki Clanton of Niles, Becky Yinger (Lee) of Florida and Jackie McCraner of Florida; his grandchildren, Penny Mullally (Chris), William "Bud" Hilligoss, Jason Krassow (Emily), Jessica Villa (Matt), Christopher Clanton (Denise), Melissa Gunn (Jeff), Jake Yinger and Ashley Hilligoss; his great grandchildren, Zachary, Kelsey, Carter, Austin, Brady, Nolan, Reagan, Kylie, Morgan, Eva and Alyssa; and his brother Leroy Hilligoss of Niles. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
