He is survived by: his spouse Bette Jean Nimtz; his daughters, Sherri Lynn and Christine Kay; his grandchildren, Lauren Hilfinger, Alex Wuischpard, Peyton Hilfinger and Parker Hilfinger; his significant other Lorelei Smith of Niles; his children, Cheri, Hughes, Lonnie Smith, Todd and Timothy; and also, Eleanor, Hassinger of Edwardsburg, John and Jann of Niles.
